[Anika's Odyssey]

Oh, man...

I was so relieved to be let in again by Gramps after finally getting that damn water... That was pure innocent awesomeness, there was nothing evil about this game (except for the little demons doing the whole "Heil Hitler" thingy at the end, that was kinda disturbing.) I loved it, fived it and I really admire your style of drawing. It reminds me of old times with the sweet toddler books. It's about time something that didn't involve gore, sex or drugs got raving reviews like this!

This won't do

If it's not a complete game, why won't you just put it in the wonderful alpha section this site has to offer? As a game this was pretty mediocre, a typical platformer that requires the player to collect coins and get to an exit. There's no motivation for it as well. The backgrounds were okay, but the main character was drawn poorly. There are some glitches as well; I was half an inch away from the spinning knife-thingies and I lost health, for example. There's a lot to improve, I suggest putting future alphas in the alpha section.

It looked pretty good, but it was too short. Beef this up, make an actual game and this should be pretty good.

Sweet game!

It wasn't graphically gorgeous, it wasn't the most complex idea, but it was sweet and kept me occupied. Nice game, enjoyed it!

It seems something's wrong...

It appears as if this game doesn't run as smoothly as it should; it says undefined on all the buttons, the loading screen doesn't disappear and I had to right-click -> play to get the actual game started. It might be because of my computer (that's why I didn't want to mess up the overall rating), but that would be such a weird glitch since it normally runs all the games and videos smoothly. What you had and what I was able to see looked good, though!

Blaming videogames for violence is like blaming every single German for WWII. Clever little joke, not so much a game, but it works. That was brilliant, the simple graphics, the minimalist style. I enjoyed it, keep em coming :)

Hehe, PETA will have your ass for this...

Still, great game, good scripting, nice graphics, the only improvement I could think of is a change of scenery from time to time. That doesn't take away the fact that I loved the splatters of gore some of the larger moth species left behind. Great fun, keep them coming!

That was incredible!

First of all, this is probably the funniest Zelda rip-off I've seen, all it missed were a sword and some ass-kicking. Good trading game, had plenty of humor in it with some nice Newgrounds and emo references and some really uncalled for stuff, like the plant eating the corpse and the character ending up with a gold watch, so great. Scripting and animation were all well done, the graphics were fun and obviously spoofing Zelda. Great game, keep them coming, seriously.

Ok, great, so you totally ripped off "the last stand" and "rotting onslaught". Nice combo, but no, innovation is far. Try to make your own game, it was alright, but it could've been so much more. Daily feature, alright, fair, but please, evolve on sound and graphics...
