Looked alright.

However, the sound was simply dreadful, there was far too much noise over the voice for it to be audible. The graphics were nice, but there could've been more active animation, think fbf or something similar. Good story, though.

PinkSkull responds:

Thanks...
I guess i need to learn how to edit properly.. and to record.... lol.
I couldnt think of much active animation for a narration.. adn didnt have much time either.
Thanks again^^

Tiesto?

Hmm, not too good a flash, try to actually portray tiesto, just namedropping and using a stickfigure isn't going to work. I think this is somewhat of a short toon, but the point isn't really there. Try to find a way of getting your point across a bit better. The background was alright, but think of a dancefloor, you see those often in Tiesto videos. What's the story with you, by the way? It says on your profile you're Canadian, but your last name is Dutch, and using Tiesto, a Dutch DJ. Are you Dutch?

Pretty pretty!

I always have a thing for these kinds of artsy concepts, that's why the ratings for graphics and style are so high. Fluently animated as well, good fbf. I never quite realized that song by the Police is actually quite good, it's simple, but I enjoy the simplicity of it. Did you use Fireworks to get the radient effects on your drawings or is it all purely Flash? Either way, I enjoyed it, fived it and am hoping to see more of your work.

Emilijus responds:

many of my friends liked this movie, and i think i will draw more of them in such style, maybe i'll add more work to it. its just flash 8 :) no other apps for effects..

Hmm, pretty fancy

I like artsy concepts such as this. Some pretty cool effects you created there, which display a modernistic music video. The style overall reminds me of Mondrian's contributions to De Stijl, don't know whether that was intended, but it works. It's fresh, I like it, keep 'em coming.

Not too bad for a first

The main things that weren't appealing at all were that everything was looped and tweened and that piss-annoying computer voice. You did have a pretty good style going on, I liked the monologue over it all, which makes me curious to see any of your future projects. Don't let my grade bring you down, see it as that there's promise, but it's going to need some work.

Great effort!

Fluently animated, good graphics and some rapid, random humor. That's the way I like flashes, very well done, keep it up. The only suggestion I could make is increase the sound quality a bit and have a bit more diversion in voices, because sometimes it was abit confusing whether it was the dog thinking or one of the guys talking.

Loved the books!

Loved the movie as well, great graphics, good comical effect and as far as movie interactivity goes, this really gets the crown. It was worth your year, definitely.

Good, good!

Alright, first of all; the effects were indeed dazzling - very well executed and came across well. However, when you're capable of drawing such splendid effects and pretty good backgrounds, then why stickfigures? No offense, just a question. The animation had a terrific flow and fit well together, creating a good fighting scene with some professional looking panning. The sound was of good quality (the song was just piss-annoying, but I guess that's just an opinion and not relevant). Something that could've been added - also to increase the timespan of the movie - was a sort of plot pre-lude, because why were they kicking eachother's asses? Good movie, though, I enjoyed it, particularly the effects. Keep 'em coming! 3/5

Okay, but definitely needs music.

Some pretty cool drawings and some nicely flowing animation. However, this will definitely need some music and a plot is always good. Also a loadings screen and a replay button would benefit the flash.

FlashKn1ght responds:

Yes, I was aware of those things missing.. .well, right after I uploaded it.

Oops.

Good flash!

Definitely a good piece! What I enjoyed most about this is how you created the atmosphere in the cornfield with the clouds and the moving corn, that was great. As the movie progressed the quality of the drawings appeared to slightly decrease, though, which is a shame. The opening scene and the RAF-like crows scene are scenes to remember, though, good job!

Not much chance for survival, if the Neon Bible is true.
